Introduction |
| The
Department
of Optometry
offers
strong
practice
and theory
courses
focusing
on field
usability,
with an
excellent
faculty
roster,
with the
aim of
producing
talented
optometrists
with advanced
techniques.
The department
has contributed
much to
the industry
by supplying
it with
optometrists
required
by Korean
and foreign
glasses
shops,
general
hospitals,
and ophthalmic
hospitals
through
its CO-OP
program
with the
local
optometric
industry.
The department
has a
high passing
rate in
the government-certified
optometrists
exam,
and all
its graduates
find employment
in the
field
that they
majored
in. |

| Glasses
are now
no longer
simply
medical
tools
for correcting
eyesight,
but a
total
fashion
product.
In addition,
the diversity
of information
that are
now available
to people,
and the
expression
of peoples
personalities
through
fashion,
require
specialization
among
optometrists.
We at
Taekyeung?
Department
of Optometry
offer
our students
who are
interested
in becoming
optometrists
the opportunity
to learn
optometry
coupled
with design,
as well
as new
educational
methodologies
related
to the
diverse
applications
of the
specialization,
to help
them become
not only
excellent
optometrists
but excellent
pharmacists
as well.
