The
Department
of Early
Childhood
Education
will continue
to strive
for the
development
of our
students?

passion
in the
care and
education
of young
children.
The purpose
of this
department
is to
upgrade
qualified
preschool
teachers
by completing
not only
cultural
subjects,
but also
regular
course
work and
teacher
training
courses.
It concentrates
on Korean
folk music,
1 year
curriculum
of Montessori
education,
Computer
training,
a method
of English
teaching
and Physical
education.
In addition,
it consists
of an
orally
narrated
fairy
tale,
paper
work,
infant
massage
program,
a puppet
show,
rhythmic
gymnastics,
games,
juvenile
drama
and the
activities
of a music
club.
The Department
recognizes
that each
individual
has different
strengths
and different
learning
styles.
Course
work is
regularly
assessed
and students
have the
opportunity
to repeat
work they
find difficult.
University
assessment
is designed
to build
achievement,
not diminish
confidence.
